I always wanted to work with animals, especially dogs.
In 1987 I completed my Trident work placement at Pont Rose Kennels and thoroughly enjoyed it so when an opportunity came to help run a brand new indoor kennel, I jumped at the chance.
I have always worked in hospitality since I was 13yrs and have been able to convert those skills to my current position.
I was able to complete a BTEC Level 2 course in animal management with 2 x Distinctions certificates including the first aid course
My partner & I have always had Briards and have currently Shadow & Bobby, couple of cheeky boys.
Although it is a very physical job, how many steps…?, it is thoroughly rewarding & I thank every single customer & guest since 2012 for making it the best job in the world & look forward to meeting new customers & their furry friends
Thank you 😊
I have been at the kennels since 2015.
I have always wanted to work with animals as I am a huge animal lover and own many myself.
Dogs have always been in my life and I couldn’t think of anything better than working with them. I have received my dog first aid course certificate and have completed my BTEC animal management course 😊
I have worked at Classic Kennels since 2019 & completed my Animal First Aid Course.
I have always worked with animals, many years at stables with horses, & treat them just like they’re my own, I have 2 dogs, Lily & Daisy a mother & daughter duo
I’ve always had a strong passion for animal care since I was young, hoping to one day work alongside animals in a rewarding career path.
I first joined the team in 2016 and ever since then my passion for animals and their welfare has grown.
On my days off I volunteer as a qualified member of Therapy Dogs Nationwide with my dog Rosie. I first started therapy work in 2017 with my late dog Snoopy (Pets as Therapy) and have loved doing it throughout the years, going to schools, libraries, the prison and anywhere they need our help. Doing roles like this really makes you idolise dogs more for their ability to help others.
I’m also qualified in animal first aid.
Really proud to be part of such an amazing team here at the kennels and hope to keep the loving atmosphere and passion that we have in what we do for many years to come.
I started in the kennels part time soon after completing my trident course in 2017 and since have finished my A levels and joined as a full time kennel assistant since 2021.
I absolutely love my job and have always wanted to work with animals,
I can’t imagine anything different.
I’ve also completed my animal first aid course.
I started working at Classic Kennels as a kennel assistant in June 2022.
I have spent many years working within childcare but have always had in the back of my mind that I wanted to work with animals, and then this amazing opportunity came! I love all the dogs and treat them as if they were my own!
It’s amazing to see all the different breeds and to learn so much about them! I have also completed my animal first aid. 😊
I was given the amazing opportunity to start working part time at Classic Kennels in October 2022 & I’ve loved every single day since I joined. I took up the role of a full time Kennel Assistant in June 2023 and it has been great working with people who have the same interests& love for animals as I do.
I love discovering new dog breeds/mixed breeds that I have never heard of before & finding special bonds with the variety of new dogs that board with us.
I have 2 friendly French Bulldogs, Bobby & Bella and they have been my life ever since they joined our family in 2018 & 2020. I love how practical this job is & I have learnt so many things & so many great experiences that I will carry through life.
I am proud of being part of this achieving team & I am looking forward to the future working here at Classic Kennels 😊
